Chapter 1
UnderstandING What’s Going on
“You're not going crazy!” Is something I find myself saying to those struggling a lot. Fear, intrusive thoughts, and feeling like the thoughts came out of nowhere, can make you feel that way.
Does this feel familiar?
A thought enters and suddenly feels urgent.
You feel compelled to analyze, check, search, confess or seek reassurance.
Relief comes briefly, then returns.
Each new thought feels like “this might be different.”
You feel like you can’t move forward until the thought is settled.
